The weight of a SWAP honeycomb board is less than a tenth of a comparable chipboard, achieved by means of its sinus wave structure yet with outstanding characteristics. Despite the low self-weight, it is extremely pressure-resistant, flexurally rigid and inherently stable. On top of this it is ecologically sustainable and easy to work – the ideal lightweight construction material with virtually unlimited application possibilities.
By means of optional lamination, the SWAP honeycomb board is given a clean surface which is easy to finish – and is popularly utilised in display and exhibition stand construction but also as packaging. Depending on requirement and the desired effect, the lamination can be implemented with different papers, foils and fleeces. SWAP honeycomb board can even be bonded easily to other covering materials such as metal or wood products.
Pallets made from the SWAP paper composite system offer a unique ratio of self-weight to stability which a conventional timber product cannot achieve. There is less risk of injury when handling the pallets; they are more hygienic than timber pallets and can even be had with the coveted Non-Wood Certificate. Disposal is, of course, very simple. SWAP pallets are therefore suitable for all export requirements and in particular for air freight. Round and multi-cornered special shapes can be supplied; the dimensioning and execution of the pallets is in line with customer requirements.
Standard boards from SWAP can be called up at short notice on an on-going basis, even in small quantities. When quick solutions are wanted, this is the product of choice. The boards are in a fixed format but are available in various thicknesses and with white or brown lamination.
